In the shelf design process should follow:

1. Consider the deformation caused by the uneven distribution of the weight of the goods, the lateral impulse caused by the action of the stacker or the forklift, and the seismic intensity fortification;

2. There is a safe distance between the goods, between the goods and the shelves, and between the goods and the fire-fighting pipes, leaving a fire sprinkler space;

3, the selection of high-quality steel, surface rust and decorative treatment, under the premise of ensuring the performance of the shelf, try to reduce the project cost;

4. The dimensional tolerances, deformations and clearances of the shelves shall comply with the relevant standards;

5, to comply with the relevant standards, there must be a calculation book. For major projects, finite element calculation must be carried out to combine the strength, stiffness and stability of the shelves, and the safety under earthquake action should be comprehensively evaluated. For standard shelf shelves that are reused, a general calculation book is required;

6. Considering the requirements of use, equipment, load, material supply and installation conditions, etc., reasonably select the structural form, construction measures and materials to ensure safety, ensure quality, economical and convenient use;

7. Beam-type shelves, both ends of each beam must be equipped with locking devices, or screws and nuts to ensure that the beam can be stably fixed on the column to prevent it from being detached by the upward external force. To ensure the engagement of the beam with its locking device (or screw and nut), the normal operation of the beam lock or the tightening of the screw and nut should be checked regularly during use, and the damaged device should be replaced in time;

8. The shelf structure is often difficult to accurately analyze theoretically. The corresponding parameters must be used to determine the parameters required in the design. The shelf structure or the bearing capacity of a component can also be determined directly through experiments.

9. The settlement value of the shelf-based shelf foundation should be strictly controlled to ensure the normal use of the shelf structure. Non-shelf-integrated shelves should be designed with attention to the separation of the shelf foundation and the building pillar foundation, to prevent the damage of the building caused by the force of the shelf structure, and the uneven settlement should meet the requirements for use;

10. The column studs should be properly fixed on the concrete foundation. It is necessary to clarify whether the connection between the shelf and the ground is by using embedded parts, using a secondary irrigation scheme, or adopting a scheme in which chemical bolts are directly connected to the ground. The diameter of the bolt and the minimum size of the bolt must be determined by calculation based on the actual load, seismic load or wind load. Small shelves that are manually loaded below 2.4m may not be fixed. The concrete of the fixed shelf column foundation must be continuously cured for 28 days and withstand the corresponding pressure. The uneven settlement of the foundation must meet the requirements for use;

11. One or more permanent signs must be placed in the eye-catching area of the shelf. The area of each sign should not be less than 20×20 (cm2). The maximum unit load (kg) should be marked in clear font on the sign. Uniform load (kg), the number of unit loads allowed for each bin.
